To be part of the workshop program you must submit an abstract addressing one of the key topics:
- Topic 1: The changing environment of healthcare and education with the introduction of robots
- Topic 2: Ethics and dignity of patients and students
- Topic 3: The privacy of patients and students
- Topic 4: The liability of robots in the contexts of therapy and education
We encourage the use of concrete cases, yet we are also open to more conceptual and theoretical ideas. The abstract should be between 1 and 2 pages long, with a minimum of 350 and a maximum of 1000 words.
Please submit the abstract as a single Word or pdf file by sending it to email@example.com
The deadline for abstract submissions is July 15 2016.
Accepted abstracts will be published in a proceedings format. Please consult the main conference website for more information in due time. Accepted presenters will be invited to prepare a five-minute presentation and we encourage the use of interactive formats such as ignite presentations and video presentations.
Please, do not forget to register via the online form even if you are submitting an abstract (see How can I register?) and to specify which workshop you are attending: Barcelona or Tokyo.
Uploading material to the website
The workshop organisers will upload the accepted abstract and the video presentation on the website before the workshop so that attendees can get familiar with the material. All attendees are encouraged to find time to see the presentations to get out the best of it.
